Can the cover be put in the dryer?

Yes , you can easily remove them and throw them in the washer.

Would this work for a 6 and 2 year old to sit together?

Yea but it would be tight. My 4 and 6 year old nephews love it when the are over but they don’t sit on it, they use it as a forte or a theater.

Is this sofa large enough for a ten and four year old to share?

If they are average or below average size, yes they should be able to sit next to each other on this. However, it is pretty low for a 10 year old to sit comfortably on.
